Sleep

They say one must not write when half asleep,
One must try to sleep, whilst counting sheep.
It seems my sleeping patterns are unnatural,
And everything about me is lateral.
Sleep and I aren't truly compatible,
Sleep to me is simply problematical.
I try to sleep as much as possible,
But not until sleep comes to me gradual,
Will I close my eyes and accept the infallible.
