Angel, part 1

She came up to me a few years ago,
To simply ask for the time.
Stunned by her beauty I could not respond.
She looked like an angel.

With sun kissed, radiant, unblemished, skin.
A voice that resonated in my heart.
Her body curving in all the right places.

Tongue tied and heavy hearted,
I told her 3:35, as she turned to walk away.
She span around in slow motion.
Thanks, she said, with a smile upon her face.

My heart was set ablaze, I felt faint.
I asked all I knew "have you her name?"
Every question answered the same,
Dismayed, I began to give up.
The woman of my dreams stayed just that, a dream.

Until a year later, when I bumped into her again.
